Nova M. Foster, MD, FACS
Biography
Dr. Foster graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee with top honors. She then completed a surgery residency and a research fellowship at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She was previously Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and she was also Co-Director of the UCLA-Santa Monica Multidisciplinary Breast Center. Most recently she practiced Carbondale, Illinois where she was the Medical Director of the Breast Center at Southern Illinois Healthcare. At the University of Arizona she is Medical Director of the Breast Program in the Department of Surgery.
Cancer Focus
Dr. Foster's clinical focus is exclusively on the management of breast cancer and breast disease. She has a special interest in the multidisciplinary management of breast cancer. She is expert in all aspects of breast cancer surgery, benign breast disease, and in management of patients at high risk for breast cancer.
