Amrita Mukherjee, PhD, is an assistant professor in Epidemiology at the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH). Dr. Mukherjee has a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery (BDS, India) and completed a dental public health residency at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, Bethesda. She received her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to joining MEZCOPH, Dr. Mukherjee completed her postdoctoral training in Cancer Epidemiology at Kaiser Permanente Southern California, Pasadena. Her research focuses on health disparities and comorbidity burden in cancer survivors.
