Miguel Flores Jr., is a proud member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Tohono O'odham Nation, a husband, father, artist, healer, counselor, and teacher. He is a community leader and chairman of the Community Action Committee for American Indian Research Center for Health (AIRCH), University of Arizona and a member of National Institute of Health (NIH), All of Us (AOU), Precision Medicine Initiative, Participant Engagement Board, AOU Native American Community Board, and Ambassador for the AOU National program, member of NIH Research Access Board, member of NIH Bio Specimen Policy Task Force Committee, Chairman for The Arizona Partnership for Native American Cancer Prevention (NACP), as well a member of the Tribal Advisory Committee for the Southern Arizona Tribes for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Indian Health Services (IHS). He is also a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Arizona and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist, National Board of Forensic Counselors. As the CEO of Holistic Wellness Counseling & Consultant Services, He is able to coordinate a team of traditional healers, acupuncturist, counselors and artists to provide holistic healthcare.
