Adalberto Renteria, MD graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Human Biology and attended Medical School at the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his Internship and Residency in Family Practice at UCLA affiliated Hospitals. Throughout Dr. Renteria’s extensive career, he has held the Medical Director position at several medical organizations including the Adventist California Medical Foundation and the Adventist Health Physicians Network in California. Since July 2020, Dr. Renteria has served as the Medical Director for the Pascua Yaqui Nation. He is also currently faculty at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the University of Arizona M.A.T. Fellowship, Tucson. He is married to Dr. Tamis Hoover Renteria, and has two sons, Lucas Emiliano and Elijah Martin.
