Ana Medina

President/CEO, Central Arizona Aging

Ana Guevara-Medina is President and Chief Executive Officer of Central Arizona Aging, where she has served for 19 years, including 14 years as Chief Operating Officer prior to her current role. As the leader of the Area Agency on Aging serving Pinal & Gila counties, Ana is responsible for advancing programs funded under the Older Americans Act and ensuring vital services reach older adults, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities.

In her role, Ana provides strategic direction and oversight for a comprehensive network of services designed to support aging in place, including nutrition programs, transportation, in-home care, and case management. She leads efforts to assess community needs, identify service gaps, and develop innovative solutions that enhance quality of life and promote independence for vulnerable populations. A strong advocate for equity, Ana prioritizes outreach and resources for individuals with the greatest economic and social need, with a particular focus on rural and socially isolatedcommunities.

Ana also serves on the Board of Directors for US Aging, representing the Arizona State Association and contributing to national efforts that strengthen the role of Area Agencies on Aging and elevate the needs of older adults across the country.

Prior to joining Central Arizona Aging, Ana spent 18 years with the City of Eloy, where she held several leadership roles, including Management Analyst and Grants Coordinator. Her work included oversight of municipal operations, administration of federally funded programs, budget management, and serving as a liaison between city leadership and community stakeholders.

Ana holds an Associate of Arts in Management from Central Arizona College and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Northern Arizona University. She is a graduate of the Hispanic Leadership Institute Pinal and the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging Leadership Institute and has been actively involved in numerous professional and community organizations throughout her career.

Committed to service both professionally and personally, Ana enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
