UACC hosts CosMx Spatial Molecular Imager Launch Day
The University of Arizona Cancer Center hosted a launch event to introduce the CosMX Spatial Molecular Imager, May 28, at the Health Sciences Innovation Building (HSIB).
This product is the latest state-of-the-art instrumentation within the Flow Cytometry Immune Monitoring Shared Resource, offered to UArizona Cancer Center members for data acquisition, analysis, cell sorting, and the technical expertise to interpret results and develop methods.
Kaitlyn LaCourse, PhD, Field Applications Scientist at NanoString, and Yana Zavros, PhD, Director of the Tissue Acquisition and Cellular/Molecular Analysis Shared Resource, led presentations to provide an overview of how the Multi-Omic Spatial Profiling of the CosMX Spatial Molecular Imager can advance the research of UArizona Cancer Center members.
Attendees also received an overview of AtoMx Data Analysis capabilities and were given the opportunity to have one-on-one discussions with Nanostring representatives to speak in-depth about the benefits of using CosMX technology for their projects.
