UACC Researcher Named Healio Woman Disruptor of the Year
Rachna Shroff, MD, MS, associate director of Clinical Investigations at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, was named this year's Healio Woman Disruptor of the Year at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting on June 3.
Dr. Shroff was nominated for the award in February with several other nationally renowned researchers, including National Cancer Institute director and presidential nominee to lead the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Monica Bertagnolli. She was also recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
"Dr. Shroff is really helping shine a light on the incredible work being done here," said Cancer Center Director Joann Sweasy, PhD. "I'm grateful to have her on our team."
