· Exploring key components: problem statement, hypothesis, objectives.
· Tips for writing impactful specific aims.

11:00 – 12:30 PM | Small Group Activity: Specific Aims Review
· Participants review specific aims pages in small groups.
· Facilitators provide targeted feedback and guidance.

· Understanding the importance of the proposed research.
· Highlighting innovation and novelty in proposals.
· Techniques for conveying significance and innovation to reviewers.

· Effective biosketch crafting.
· Incorporating sex as a biological variable.
· Identifying common pitfalls and how to avoid them.
· Locating funding opportunities and aligning with organizational goals.
· Understanding detailed grant application requirements and guidelines.
