Cancer Focus
My lab is interested in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and inflammation-associated colorectal cancer. Our work is focused on the innate immune responses in the gastrointestinal mucosa, gut microbiota, and the gut epithelial cell biology as the interface between the microbiota and the mucosal immune system.
