After completion of Anatomic and Clinical pathology residency program at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Proytcheva has completed Hematopathology Fellowship at Weil Medical College at Cornell University, New York, NY and Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine fellowship at Yale University. She is the editor and main author of Diagnostic Pediatric Hematopathology, Cambridge University Press. Chair, Scientific Committee on Hematopathology and Clinical Laboratory Hematology session at the American Society of Hematology 2017 annual meeting.
