Joshua Melson, MD
Biography
Dr. Melson is the Director of High-Risk Clinic for Gastrointestinal Cancers at our Cancer Center. His focus is on managing patients at elevated risk for gastrointestinal cancers and utilizing clinical expertise for cancer prevention. He specializes in colorectal cancer screening, surveillance, and endoscopic removal of precancerous lesions during colonoscopy. With grant funding from prominent foundations and the American Cancer Society, his research enhances colorectal cancer prevention through optimized colonoscopy. Dr. Melson also serves on the editorial review board of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and takes an active role in advancing gastrointestinal care.
