Dr. Jim Warneke joined the faculty at the University of Arizona's College of Medicine, Surgical Oncology in 1991. Dr. Warneke completed his medical training at UCLA. He then completed his general surgery residency at the University of Arizona and was Fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. Dr. Warneke’s research involves the treatment of skin malignancies, specifically melanoma and sarcoma. He is a leader in the field of surgical treatment of advanced cutaneous malignancies.
