Cancer Focus

Dr. Chow conducts clinical and translational research studies to identify potential targets for cancer prevention and to evaluate chemoprevention strategies. She has led a number of clinical trials to evaluate the potentials of different dietary compounds, repurposed drugs, and modified dosing schedules of established drugs for breast cancer prevention. In addition, she has led a NCI-funded Chemoprevention Consortium to conduct clinical investigations of various pharmaceutical and nutraceutical agents and vaccines for prevention of lung, breast, cervix, prostate, skin, esophageal, and head and neck cancer.
