Eung Joo Lee, PhD

Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Eung-Joo Lee is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His primary research focuses on developing deep learning algorithms that utilize computationally efficient models designed specifically for embedded computer vision systems and medical imaging applications.
 
Before working at the University of Arizona, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at MGH/Harvard Medical School. He earned his PhD in electrical and computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. During his doctoral studies, he engaged in a research internship at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory.
