Cancer center members Christopher Hulme, PhD, professor of medicinal chemistry at the R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy, and Curtis Thorne, PhD, associate professor of cellular and molecular medicine at the College of Medicine – Tucson, recently received  $4 million in venture funding to develop drugs that are orally bioavailable, well-tolerated and versatile  in treating multiple cancer types.
