U of A Women's basketball hosts 'Cats vs Cancer'

On Feb. 16, the University of Arizona Womens Basketball team hosted "Cats vs Cancer" in support of cancer awareness, in their game against Texas Christian University.
Fans were encouraged to wear pink clothes and were offered pink cancer awareness wristbands to show their support. The team also honored Ginny L Clements and those impacted by cancer with a moment of recognition, during which fans held up signs with "I Stand For" written on them and a blank area to fill in. Clements is a breast cancer survivor and founder of the Ginny L. Clements Breast Cancer Research Institute.
