This KPNX 12 (Phoenix, AZ) feature story details the efforts of a former University of Arizona Skin Cancer Institute (STEP UP Program) student, Lauryn White, to collaborate with the New Home Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona, and bring skin cancer awareness to the African American community, which suffers disproportionately from negative outcomes of melanoma.
