UArizona Hoops hosts "Lights out for Cancer"

On Jan. 17, the University of Arizona Mens Basketball team hosted "Lights Out for Cancer" in support of cancer awareness, in their home-court victory over the University of Southern California.

Fans were encouraged to wear black clothes and were offered pink cancer awareness pins to show their support. The team also honored Ginny L Clements and those impacted by cancer with a moment of recognition, during which fans held up signs with "I Stand For" written on them and a blank area to fill in. Clements is a breast cancer survivor and founder of the Ginny L. Clements Breast Cancer Research Institute.
