Meet COE: Liliana Mendivil, Health Educator, Senior

Liliana joined the team in February 2023. Previously, she served as a Community Health Worker in Santa Cruz County for over five years. There, she developed a new curriculum for the Diabetes Education program, including nutrition classes and food demonstrations. In 2020, Liliana earned her lifestyle coach certification and collaborated with the American Diabetes Association’s National Diabetes Prevention program. Her extensive experience in health promotion has strengthened ties between the UACC and the community, enhancing the center’s transparency and cultural inclusivity.
