Mary Gonzales
Nutrition Educator, University of Arizona-Pinal County Extension
Mary Gonzales, is a native of Casa Grande. She retired from Pinal County Public Health after 30 years. While there she held many positions including WIC Supervisor, Breastfeeding Coordinator Diabetes Education Coordinator and School Health Liaison, where she educated teens on healthy behaviors, including substance abuse prevention, abstinence and nutrition/physical activity. She currently works with the University of Arizona - Pinal County Cooperative Extension as a Nutrition Educator and with Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens as a Health Education Specialist. She is a member of the Arizona Department of Health Services-Diabetes Coalition and founded the Pinal County Diabetes Coalition.
