Dr. Ken Hatch has been a national and international leader in surgical techniques for patients with gynecologic cancers. He has lectured and performed surgical demonstrations in 21 different countries and throughout the United States. He has been a leader in minimally invasive surgery since its inception in 1991. His surgical innovations include eliminating the need for a colostomy in surgery for advanced malignancies, reconstruction of the vagina and bladder after radical resection, preventing bladder damage by performing a nerve sparing laparoscopic hysterectomy and preservation and reconstruction of the vulva. He has published 3 books on these operations.
