Cancer Focus

For the past 30 years, I have been actively involved in caring for women with gynecologic cancers on a daily basis and investigating racial disparities in gynecologic cancer. I have been an active participant in an international non-profit research cooperative group supported by the National Cancer Institute with the purpose of promoting excellence in the quality and integrity of clinical and basic scientific research in the field of Gynecologic malignancies. I have developed and executed numerous multi-institutional clinical trials. I am involved in racial disparities research, and also through the Gynecologic Oncology Group, have been intimately involved in the evaluation and therapy development of rare ovarian tumors.
