Daniel R. Pennington earned his Emergency Medical Technician license at Sierra College in Rocklin, California. He then completed his Bachelors of Science in biology with an emphasis in pre-medical studies at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. He then worked in numerous clinics and hospitals around Arizona as a Medical Scribe in fields such as Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology and Structural Interventional Cardiology and eventually was promoted to a chief scribe. He accepted a position in 2018 as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Arizona Cancer Center and been working under the direction of Dr. Rachna Shroff, Chief, Section of GI Oncology.
My focus is clinical research in GI solid tumors, including colorectal, hepatocellular, gastric, esophageal cancers, with a special interest in cholangiocarcinoma and pancreatic cancers.
