Biography

Amanda Arrington, MD, FACS, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology. She is Vice Chair of Community Outreach in the Department of Surgery and the Arizona CoC State Cancer Chair.
Dr. Arrington completed general surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. A graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine, Dr. Arrington also completed fellowship training in surgical oncology at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, California. Dr. Arrington is board certified in both general surgery and surgical oncology. She is active in both regional and national organizations. She has special interest in health policy and disparities research.
