Overheard in the Lab: Resolving Work and Research Drama

A Hands-On Workshop for Graduate Students

As graduate students, we all experience unequal power dynamics at times. Interpersonal conflict and power imbalances in the lab can be some of the most difficult challenges students face while pursuing a graduate degree. This workshop will engage graduate students in hands-on intervention practice to learn how to approach these encounters and what to do about them. Facilitated by Kristin Hunt, PhD, Associate Professor and Kendra Kahl, MFA Candidate, Arizona State University, this in-person workshop will utilize real-world experiences of STEM graduate students to develop collaborative solutions.
