Women’s Health Initiative Arizona Group Meeting
About the Women’s Health Initiative Arizona Group Meetings: The WHI AZ group meeting supports UA investigators and students carrying out research using Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) data. This monthly meeting provides a forum for discussion, collaboration, dissemination, methods and proposal development for secondary data analyses with WHI data. The WHI started in 1992, enrolling over 161,000 post-menopausal women with the vision to improve health through research on risk factors, prevention, and early detection of serious health conditions, so postmenopausal women thrive, and is still actively collecting follow up data. The WHI AZ group warmly welcomes new members who are interested in getting involved in WHI research. Please contact Kim Lind (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to join the meeting.
